Welcome to Prestoncrest Church of Christ.
We’re so glad you decided to visit Prestoncrest! George Barna has written: “Most churches in today’s
turbulent environment are either in a state of stagnation, or decline, but there are few that are
steadily growing.” Prestoncrest is one of those “few.”
People matter at Prestoncrest.
As a “user-friendly” church, Prestoncrest strives to be in touch with your needs and concerns as we
serve our Lord. We are proud of our broad spectrum of members... from more than 80 zip codes and 5
counties in north Texas! We are not “user-friendly” in the sense of watering down our belief or historic
faith just to accommodate with the culture - we affirm the Gospel of Jesus Christ courageously and
without apology. Instead, our “user-friendly” focus is from our commitment to listening to members and
guests, and those we reach out to, in a contemporary way, as the Gospel teaches.
One of the ways we strive to be “user-friendly” is through our Searchers Class. We invite you to visit
us in Searchers - I’ll be there with our Preaching Associate, Bob Chisholm, to share insights on
Christianity and the Bible. It has been described as “A class that does a wonderful job of explaining the
basics of Christianity in a refreshing way.” It opens and illuminates the Scripture by weaving relevant
insights into the Bible’s history, culture, and doctrine.
The average age here at Prestoncrest is 27. We’re a young church with lots of singles, young married
couples, and lots of children. Even with a large congregation, we try to stay small by staying concerned
and connected with one another. Let this information packet be a resource for you to get to know
Prestoncrest even better... it’s not just another brochure! Let it have a special place in your home. These
are not just church staff and elders in here - they are here to serve you!
