Adult Classes

The ENGAGED AND NEWLY MARRIED COUPLES class is desinged with couples who are preparing for their prospective marriages and those married couples that are beginning their lives together as husband and wife.

The focus is to assist each couple in molding a Christian foundation for their marriage and forming close friendships with other Christian couples.

The YOUNG MARRIEDS class is focused on couples ranging in age from early 20's to mid 30's. Several couples have children with several more on the way, but there are also many couples without children.

The mission of this class is to support couples as they progress in their marriages and transition out of the newlywed stage, facing new challenges in their lives. Our focus is on strengthening relationships with God and each other, through a variety of class activities and our small groups.

MARRIEDS GROWING TOGETHER is primarily young married couples with and without children. The age group is between 20-35.

The class mission is for each couple to grow closer to God, closer to each other, and closer to the church as our marriages and families grow and change.

YOUNG FAMILIES is a dynamic group of couples who no longer consider themselves newly married. Many couples have young children.

The class is focused on building a spiritual foundation both personally and for their families. They plan numerous activities to build closer relationships with each other and with God.

MARRIAGE BUILDERS is a group of couples and young families who are primarily in their 30's.

The emphasis is learning from biblically-based studies those principles that build and nurture Christian relationships within their own families and the Prestoncrest family.

The GROWING FAMILIES class is primarily parents aged between 35 and 45 who are raising children to love God and look to Him for direction. The class gathers regularly for fellowship and conduct an annual family retreat.

A class focused on the example of Jesus, reaching out to those around us and nurturing and encouraging one another.

FAITH BUILDERS is a group of families whose children range from school age to college age.

The class participates in several benevolence activities throughout the year as well as special projects as the need arises. Fellowship opportunities include devotionals, potlucks, supper club, holiday parties and an annual "summer bash."

FRIENDSHIP CLASS are married couples ranging in age from 40's to 60's. The class cherishes its friendships with each other and all of Prestoncrest. A Bible centered class with regular activities include class fellowships and benevolent projects.

The SEARCHERS CLASS is a group of people who are searchng for life's answers.

The class provides a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. It is a safe place to ask questions and find answers. We talk about Jesus, God, faith, doubt, and other real life issues.

The HEARTS IN ACTION class is a mix of singles, couples, families and those who are single again.

The goal of this class is to seek the truth in God's Word and share it through fellowship and service to others. We have opportunities for Bible study, class and community ministries, and to share in praise and prayer.

PACESETTERS An energetic mix of singles, widowers, single again, and couples - ranging in age from 35 to 93. The group is very giving and spiritually oriented, yet enjoys fun both in class and in get-togethers. It continually grows and now has some 170 members.

Pacesetters seeks God's will while building friendships through fellowship and benevolent service to others.

BROTHER'S KEEPER is a diverse group of warm, loving and friendly adults of all ages studying God's word, striving to do His will, dedicated to recognizing needs and serving others.

FIFTIES PLUS is an active group of couples and a few widows in or near the retirement years.

Bible based study is the emphasis and several of the men have great bible knowledge with experience as Elders, Deacons, Teaching, and Preaching. The ladies are also good students of God's Word which enables good class discussion. Several members enjoy going to lunch together on Sundays and the major class party in held in December each year.

WISDOM CLASS are retired adults in their seventies, designed to meet the needs of senior members through activities, fellowships and nurturing relationships with Prestoncrest members.
