PC Youth

Ministering to the specific spiritual, emotional, cognitive and developmental needs of teenagers, 7 th - 12 th grade, in order that they might become life-long disciples of Jesus Christ.

Purpose Driven Youth Ministry seeks to match God's eternal purposes to his church with the different audiences that fulfill them. The result is our programs. No longer do we do things just because they sound like fun or because we think we should do them. Each program is designed to reflect a specific purpose and to target a specific audience.

Each student in the youth ministry will have the opportunity to fulfill each of the five purposes God has outlined for his church.  The goal for each purpose is as follows:
  • FELLOWSHIP:  For each student to be cared for, held accountable and nurtured all along their spiritual journey by adult leaders and by fellow students.
  • DISCIPLESHIP:  For each student to move toward Christ-likeness through study of the Bible and by modeling of Christian life by adult and student leaders.
  • WORSHIP:  For each student to learn to express their love to God, in a language they understand, in group gatherings and in their personal lives.
  • MINISTRY:  For each student to put their faith into practice by meeting the needs of one another, the community and the world.
  • EVANGELISM:  For each student to develop the skills and passion to share Jesus with those around them, by sharing their stories as they intersect with His story.
