Outreach Ministries

Community Benevolence Ministry - People in our community, as well as members of Prestoncrest, have resources available to them in times of physical and material need. This ministry is focused on those requiring temporary assistance in meeting immediate needs (food, clothing and shelter). Occasionally, emergency financial assistance is provided through this ministry.

FriendSpeak Ministry - FriendSpeak is an outreach initiative to people from foreign countries. It helps them to improve their English through weekly lessons that teach the Bible. FriendSpeak uses the tool of language to reach out to others to share Jesus with them.

Institutional Benevolence Ministry - The Institutional Benevolence Ministry provides monetary donations to 13 institutional programs that seek to have a Christian influence in the lives of the people they serve. The result is programs that directly bring Christ in to the lives of people in difficult situations.

Missions Ministry - The mission work engaged in by Prestoncrest is extensive and varied. We presently support twelve accomplished long-term missionaries on a full-time basis, and many others on a partial basis. The work of these dedicated missionaries is a vital part of our church.

Neighborhood Relations Ministry - The Neighborhood Relations Ministry helps ease the parking situation by making sure traffic flow in and out of the parking lot is efficient and that our visitors are accommodated with adequate parking. Also, to maintain a good relationship with our neighbors and not infringe on their property.

New Members Ministry -The New Member Ministry helps to welcome new member and converts into the Prestoncrest family. It encourages new members to connect through worship services, classes, and other activities.

Personal Evangelism Ministry - The Personal Evangelism Ministry serves and encourages the personal outreach of Prestoncrest members through prayer, training, workshops, materials, mentoring, and conducting home Bible studies.

Prison Ministry - The Prison Ministry brings the message of Jesus to those incarcerated in Texas prisons. It also provides support for prison ministers.

Revival Dallas Ministry - The Revival Dallas Ministry works with smaller churches in the Dallas area to support and equip their ministry works.

Searchers Ministry - The Searchers Class provides a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. It is a safe place to ask questions and find answers. They talk about Jesus, God, faith, doubt, and other real life issues.

Visitation Ministry - The Visitation Ministry focuses on those in the church who are sick, needing visits and prayers.

World Bible School Ministry - World Bible School is designed to spread the gospel through encouragement and promote Bible study to non-Christians throughout Africa and the United States.
