One kind of neighbor is already in the body of Christ. Our compassion Reaches IN to our spiritual brothers and sisters. We follow Jesus by caring for other Christians.

Adult Education Ministry - Providing Bible study to address God's design for developing unity with Him, within the church body and marriage relationship; a class and task leaders program, to promote relationship building in the church and individual classes; a family program to encourage relationship building within marriage; and a class structure that allows expression of our faith and love for one another through active involvement of class members.

Children's Ministry - Encouraging both the mental and spiritual development of our children in everything we do and providing a loving and nurturing environment that will allow each child's personal faith building process to occur.

Church Rides Ministry - Providing riding services.

Community Benevolence Ministry - Meeting the physical needs of our church members and members of our surrounding community. Matthew 25:35-45

Employment Ministry - Provide the best and most appropriate guidance to our members concerning employment related issues, and to be concerned about their spiritual well being throughout the process of implementing this ministry, and to do so without regard to position, income, and social status, but for the purpose of being of assistance to the member and the family.

Family Ministry - Incorporating a spiritually based ministry program that will strengthen, enrich and encourage the individual nuclear family as well as the entire church family, allowing each person to grow closer to each other thus growing closer to God. Includes both the Men's Ministry - and the Women's Ministry.

Fellowship Ministry - Arranges fellowship.

Greeters Ministry - Displaying a Christ-like friendliness to both visitors and members and to provide visitors with information about Prestoncrest.

Homebound Communion Ministry - Ensuring that all homebound church members are able to partake in communion.

Internet Ministry - Providing a website that is primarily visitor friendly, provides basic information about Prestoncrest, its ministry work and provides access to worship services via web streaming, and secondly, provides information to church members about ministries, classes, Bible studies, missions and outreach work.

Involvement Ministry - Providing current Prestoncrest members an opportunity to grow spiritually by becoming actively involved in Prestoncrest ministries in a meaningful way by taking advantage of the member’s interest and abilities.

Neighborhood Relations Ministry - Helping to ease the parking situation by making sure traffic flow in and out of the parking lot is efficient and that our visitors are accommodated with adequate parking. Also, maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors and not infringe on their property.

New Members Ministry - Developing a congregational friendly approach to new members and new converts by encouraging everyone to get involved in worship services, congregational classes and other activities.

Nursery Ministry - Providing a safe, secure and Christian environment for the spiritual development of our infants.

Personal Connection Ministry - Maintaining personal contact with all Prestoncrest members in order to identify needs which threaten their relationship to God and to membership at Prestoncrest.

Retired Member Ministry - Working with the retired men in the congregation to spend time together in fellowship and biblical devotion, pursue innovative work activities, and keep up with the sick and needy.

Single Adult Ministry - The Mission of the Single Adult Ministries is to articulate, reflect, and live out the Christian faith in a coherent, comprehensive and compelling manner to single adults of all ages so that singles may be transformed into Christ-likeness. Our mission is to emulate Christ and to bring about maturity, wholeness and health through worship, evangelism, personal spiritual development, stewardship, community service and fellowship among believers.

Single Parent Family Ministry - The men and women that make up the single-parent family ministry are a group of believers connected by the common bond of being a single parent, but they are also connected by the eternal bond of being brothers and sisters in Christ.

Small Group Ministry - Transforming God’s people into passionate and productive followers of Jesus through three powerful relationships: upreach, to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind;” inreach, toward other Christians to “love your neighbor as yourself;” and outreach, to serve and share our faith with those who do not yet know God.

Streaming Ministry - Distributing God's word through on the Internet.

Sunshine School - Provide a preschool atmosphere to help children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually since the earliest years of a child’s life are the most plastic and that, “Just as the twig is bent, the tree grows.” Lay impressions during these early years that, to a very great extent, determine the child’s disposition, attitudes, and deeds.

Ushers Ministry - Facilitating the distribution of bulletins and other printed info, retrieval of communion & contribution trays, and seating of latecomers, newcomers, guests, and visitors during and prior to worship services.

Visitation Ministry - Arranges visitations.

Young at Heart Ministry - Ministry for the Young at Heart class.

Youth Ministry - Ministering to the specific spiritual, emotional, cognitive and developmental needs of teenagers, 7th – 12th grade, in order that they might become life-long disciples of Jesus Christ.

Building & Grounds Ministry - Providing effective, comfortable, and attractive facilities for public worship, Bible study, and general building usage. Secondary is to provide maintenance and make ready for the church vehicles.

Deacon Administration Ministry - Serving as a conduit for communication among the elders, deacons, ministers and staff in order that the ministries of this congregation function as smoothly and effectively as possible.

Emergency Response Ministry - Dedicated to responding to emergencies during service.

Finance Ministry - Properly manage the financial resources that the Lord has blessed us with by safeguarding the receipt of contributions and ensuring that expenditures are appropriate.

Information Technology Ministry - Providing a secure information technology infrastructure to support the ministry, business and operational needs of the Prestoncrest Church of Christ.

Office Administration Ministry - Determining jobs/activities where volunteers can be productive in support of administrative needs in the church office. Location of the PC Toolbox.

Pictorial Directory Ministry - Negotiating with photography/directory companies then planning, organizing, coordinating and managing the process whereby members are given the opportunity to have pictures of themselves and their families taken and included in a church-wide pictorial directory. Providing a directory that can be used by members, staff, ministers and elders to get better acquainted, build relationships and draw closer to each other as they grow closer to God.

Security Ministry - Providing a safe environment for worship.
