Streaming/Media FAQI'm having Streaming Video Problems?Did you check the time for our streamed service? We only offer streaming services at 8:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. Our Time Zone is Central Time. What do I need to listen or watch a stream? What about MP3s?Flash Player is required to view the streaming video. You may download the latest version of Flash Player here: MP3 or other audio files can be played using one of the three major formats, Real Media, Windows Media, and MP3. Real Media needs Real Player which is available at: Windows Media Player comes pre-installed on most new computers, but you can also download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp If you have a Macintosh then we recommend using iTunes, which comes pre-installed on Macintosh computers. What are MP3s?MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer 3) is a compression algorithm developed by the Motion Picture Experts Group. MP3's are used to make CD's, play on your computer, or even your iPod. We currently offer free MP3's of all messages. Why won't Macintosh computer play my MP3 file? Macintosh computers tend to have trouble properly identifying MP3 files. Check the properties of the file(s) that you downloaded, by CTRL-Clicking on the file and choosing info. It should display the file as an MP3. If it is not recognized as an MP3 then you will need to rename the file. I can play the message but cannot download the file. What is wrong? To save the file on a PC, right-click on the file and select "Save Target As ..." |
