Worshiping OnlineJoin us onlineThere are many reasons why an individual cannot attend live services. Whether you are internationally based, traveling, or need to stay home, Prestoncrest invites you to worship with us via broadband. Prestoncrest streams our morning and evening worship services. The morning streams begin at 8:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Evening streams begin at 6:00 PM. All times are CST. FORMAT The format of our services varies, but we usually include the follow: The core of our service is both fellowship and worship. HOW TO PARTICIPATE We have learned from our online audience how they conduct worship, so we recommend the follow. Songs of Praise Join us in song. The lyrics are usually streamed in our video portion. Prayer Join us during our prayer time and focus on your needs, the needs of your family, or even your community. Preparation of prayers can be helpful, but the essential part is to pray. God wants us to lift up our needs, concerns, and thoughts to him; like a parent who wants to listen to their child, God wants to listen to our requests. The Bread and Cup Prepare ahead of time but having the materials (cup, bread, juice or other) with you. Join us with prayer of praise and meditate on the different parts of Jesus' (request.) The bread symbolizes the one body of Christ from which we are all fed. The cup of wine symbolizes the blood of Christ that gives us new life. The Bible verse we reflect on is from Luke 22:19-20:
Sermon Have a Bible ready and use it to look up passages. We highly recommend you review and reflect on what is spoken. Do not rely on us as your sole source of Biblical knowledge; always study the passages yourself. SHOULD I CONTRIBUTE?Whether or not to collect contributions outside of the church building is a sensitive subject among a lot of congregations. We currently do not have a method in place to collect contributions, so we ask that you contribute them to someone in need or to a local congregation. If you wish to contribute to us, you can contact the church office for information. The necessity of giving is mentioned in the Bible and one must give with the right attitude, to help and support others. A passage in 1 Timothy 6:17-19 says:
