Ministers & Staff
Prestoncrest Church of Christ is blessed with an amazing group of ministers. Each day these men and women strive to bring our congregation closer to God. Furthermore, several paid staff work throughout the week to make our gathering possible.
Gordon Dabbs is a native of the Ozarks (Neosho, MO) and a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. He has been married to Ila since 1993 and they have two really cool kids, Claudia and David. They also have a mean-looking but very sweet German Shepherd named Jane and Boo, the world’s fattest/laziest cat. Gordon’s unique skill set and fresh insights come from a non-traditional and diverse background. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Oklahoma as well as Master’s degrees from O.U. (Ethics) and from Lubbock Christian University (Bible Interpretation). He has published articles on business leadership and spiritual transformation. As a university student, he interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, the Center for Peace and Freedom and the National Communication Association.
The Dabbs worked as church planters in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for ten years. The dynamic Victory Church in Rio now has Brazilian elders and evangelists.
A regular speaker at national and international conferences, Gordon produced and presented a weekly television program in Rio as well as appearing as a guest on other TV and radio programs.
Before moving to Brazil, Gordon worked as Campus Minister for the University of Oklahoma. Despite his love for the Sooners, he enjoys working with hundreds of Texas and Texas A&M fans at Prestoncrest.
With a natural enthusiasm, Gordon has a passion for developing those around him, for preaching practical messages, and for reaching out to the weak and hurting.

Associate Youth Minister
Alexandra was born and raised in Plano, Texas and has lived there with her parents and two older sisters throughout her elementary, middle, and high school years. Her first encounter with Prestoncrest was at the young age of 3, when she was enrolled in Sunshine School.
By the age of four, she began a competitive and exciting life full of basketball, soccer, volleyball, and horseback riding. She also enjoyed school, friends, cheering on her sisters at their sports events, and, of course, church. Alexandra came to know the Father and fell in love with Jesus at a young age. Even so, as she was striving to live her outward life in a manner worthy of her inner Kingdom-oriented identity, she wrestled with being tempted by the things of this world throughout her middle and early high school years. It was a horrific car accident at the age of 16 that caused her to completely surrender, giving her life over fully to the work of the Lord. During her later high school years, Alexandra became passionate about sharing in the goodness of the Lord with others, being devoted to living a Spirit-guided life, and interceding for, and with, others through prayer.
After graduating from high school, Alexandra attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in May of 2016 with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Bible, Missions, & Ministry. While receiving her undergraduate degree she was given the opportunity to travel to Africa twice for mission related work. She also worked at a driving school, gained a brother-in-law, served as the female youth intern for Prestoncrest two summers in a row, and fell in love with Duncan McAulay, who she married in October of 2016. It was through her two summers at Prestoncrest that she felt the Lord breathe life on the desire of ministering to middle and high school age students, as those were the years He most visibly transformed her life. It is with joy, humility, and the Father’s handiwork that Alexandra is now the Associate Youth Minister at Prestoncrest.
When Alexandra is away from work and isn’t snuggled up in her favorite chair, drinking coffee and reading a book, you might find her spending time with family and friends, playing sports, outside enjoying a chilly fall day, or hosting Pinterest-worthy dinner parties!
